an affinity to the sea: british library x supriya lele competition

This project took inspiration from my own heritage as well as my own personal interests. One of my ancestors had artwork chronicled within the British Library, which focused on British countryside, water and stately homes. Coupled with my grandfather’s profession as a marine artist for over thirty years, and my love of diving, I decided to explore the idea that an “affinity to the sea” runs in the family.
